Kazakhstan Launches $1 Billion Crypto Reserve Fund by 2026

Kazakhstan is set to launch a $1 billion national crypto reserve fund by early 2026. The fund, managed through the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC), will invest in exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and digital firms instead of directly holding Bitcoin. This initiative will utilize confiscated and repatriated assets for financing, as part of a larger effort to solidify Kazakhstan’s position in the crypto market.
