Bitcoin Boasts 3.22% Kimchi Premium in Korean Market on November 5

On November 5, Bitcoin exhibited a notable Kimchi premium of 3.22% in the South Korean market as per data from Upbit exchange. As of 12:00 AM KST on that day, Bitcoin’s price stood at 155.3 million KRW, representing a 2.07% decrease compared to the previous day. On the global exchange Binance, BTC was priced at 150.43 million KRW, resulting in a price gap of 4.87 million KRW and a Kimchi premium of 3.22%. Meanwhile, Ethereum (ETH), leading altcoin, also showcased a similar level of 3.22% Kimchi Premium. Other notable altcoins displayed comparable premiums: Solana (SOL) at 3.15%, XRP (XRP) at 3.20%, Dogecoin (DOGE) at 3.02%, and Shiba Inu (SHIB) at 2.86%. Most of the top-tier altcoins traded with a premium ranging between 2.8% and 3.2%.
