Revolut Introduces 1:1 Stablecoin Conversion for Seamless Fiat-Crypto Transfers

Fintech giant Revolut has launched a groundbreaking new feature that allows its 65 million users to seamlessly convert U.S. dollars (USD) to stablecoins with no fees, spreads, or hidden markups. Users can now exchange up to $578,630 (or €500,000) in USD every 30 rolling days at a fixed rate of $1 for $1 when converting between USD and stablecoins like USDT and USDC. Revolut’s Head of Product for Crypto Leonid Bashlykov emphasizes that this new update removes the frustrations of transferring between fiat and cryptocurrencies, emphasizing it’s about eliminating friction and not just about securing better rates.
