Hong Kong Appoints Tribunal for Stablecoin Review

The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region has appointed a new chair and members for the Stablecoin Review Tribunal, as established under the Stablecoin Ordinance (Chapter 656). The Chair, Senior barrister Lan De Ye, will be joined by a panel including Professor Huang Hao, Qiu Yuan Yun, Lu Zhi Hong, Mai Ye Cheng, Wu Jian Lin, and Xiao Zi Qian. This tribunal is tasked with reviewing decisions made by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority following appeals, ensuring these decisions are fair and justifiable. This move aims to uphold regulatory decisions in line with legal frameworks established under the Stablecoin Ordinance.
