Norway Sees 30% Surge in Crypto Ownership Reported for 2024 Taxes

Norway’s Tax Administration reveals a significant increase in cryptocurrency holdings declared by citizens on their 2024 tax returns. The agency reports over 73,000 individuals disclosed owning digital assets, representing a 30% jump from 2023. This reflects a notable shift from 2019, when only 6,470 taxpayers reported crypto ownership in the country.
