China Embraces Emerging Tech to Revamp Urban Commerce

China’s Ministry of Commerce, along with four other departments, has unveiled a new plan to boost urban commerce through the integration of cutting-edge technologies. The ‘Urban Commercial Enhancement Action Plan’ aims to incorporate AI, IoT, cloud computing, blockchain, and extended reality into commercial systems across cities.
