Bitcoin Sees 4.07% Kimchi Premium on October 30 in South Korea

South Korean Bitcoin trading saw a notable surge as the asset traded at a premium of 4.07% on October 30th, according to data from Upbit. At 12:00 AM KST, Bitcoin’s price on the exchange stood at 166.56 million KRW, reflecting a slight decline of 1.02% compared to the previous day. On global exchange Binance, the price was slightly lower at 160.05 million KRW, resulting in a price gap of 6.51 million KRW and a Kimchi Premium of 4.07%. Ethereum (ETH) followed suit with a 4.08% Kimchi Premium. Other prominent altcoins also exhibited strong premiums: Solana (SOL) at 4.02%, XRP (XRP) at 3.99%, Dogecoin (DOGE) at 4.29%, and Shiba Inu (SHIB) at 4.55%. The majority of leading altcoins currently hold Kimchi Premiums within the 3.9% to 4.5% range.
