Western Union Launches Stablecoin on Solana by 2026

Western Union is preparing to enter the world of digital assets with a strategic partnership to launch a stablecoin on the Solana blockchain by 2026. The company will collaborate with Anchorage Digital Bank to issue USDPT, a stablecoin designed for faster and cheaper cross-border payments. Western Union’s new initiative promises to shift remittance flows and enhance Solana’s adoption in traditional finance.
