DOE Invests $1 Billion in AMD Supercomputers to Fuel AI and HPC Advancements

The U.S. Department of Energy has partnered with Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) to develop two advanced supercomputers, Lux AI and Discovery, worth a billion dollars. These machines will bolster the U.S.’s capabilities in artificial intelligence (AI) and high-performance computing (HPC), supporting research on areas like energy efficiency, medicine, and national security. While this collaboration focuses on traditional computing technologies, it does not impact cryptocurrency markets or blockchain technology.
