Airtel Africa has reported a significant profit surge, recording a staggering $376 million in Profit After Tax (PAT) for the first half of 2025. This represents a remarkable 375% year-over-year growth compared to the same period last year, according to financial statements released by the company on Tuesday. The increase is attributed to factors including expanding customer base and successful strategies employed by the group. Airtel highlights innovations such as its Airtel Spam alert, enhanced revenue generation techniques, and the expansion of digital offerings. 173.8 million customers across its 14 African markets are now served by the company, a 11% increase from a year ago.
