Tether to Launch US-Focused Stablecoin This December

Tether is preparing to launch a new stablecoin tailored for U.S. users in December, aiming to comply with federal regulations. The stablecoin, named USAT, will be issued by Tether America, a joint venture between Tether and the regulated U.S. cryptocurrency bank Anchorage Digital. This move follows Tether’s investment in platforms like Rumble aimed at expanding its user base among 100 million Americans. With Tether’s USDT supply reaching $182 billion, it continues to hold a prominent position within the stablecoin market while Tether Gold has seen its market size double this year.
