Chainlink Labs Offers On-Chain Solution for Detecting Illicit Activities in Crypto

Chainlink Labs has submitted a proposal outlining how blockchain technology can bolster financial oversight while respecting user privacy, responding to the U.S. Treasury’s request for input on combating illicit activity in digital assets. The firm proposes incorporating identity oracles and programmable rules engines into on-chain compliance frameworks to enhance transparency and accountability.
