Bitcoin Sees 5.39% Kimchi Premium in South Korea on October 23

On October 23rd, Bitcoin saw a significant price surge in the South Korean market. As of 12:00 AM KST, Upbit reported a trading price of 163.98 million KRW for BTC, marking an increase of 0.35% compared to the previous day. This resulted in a Kimchi Premium of 5.39%. Meanwhile, on Binance, BTC was priced at 155.58 million KRW, leading to a price gap of 8.4 million KRW and a premium of 5.39%. Ethereum (ETH) also experienced a substantial increase in value, displaying a Kimchi Premium of 5.44%. Other notable altcoins saw similar premiums as well: Solana (SOL), XRP (XRP), Dogecoin (DOGE), and Shiba Inu (SHIB) all displayed premiums within the range of 5.3% to 5.9%. The majority of these top altcoins are currently trading with a Kimchi Premium in this favorable range.
