Alps Rebrands to Reflect Expansion into Global Data Center Infrastructure

European digital infrastructure leader Alps Blockchain is undergoing a corporate rebranding from Alps Blockchain to simply ‘Alps’. This move marks a significant milestone in the company’s evolution as it transitions from a Bitcoin mining operator to a fully integrated data center provider. The rebrand reflects Alps’ ambitious expansion into advanced computing applications, including artificial intelligence (AI).

Founded in 2018, Alps has built and managed modular, energy-efficient data centers across Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, and South America.

The company is currently developing a global infrastructure network to deliver 15 exahashes per second (EH/s) of computing power by 2029. This expansion into high-performance computing for AI will be crucial in their future operations.

This rebranding signifies a shift towards providing an entire value chain of energy and digital infrastructure services, from site development to on-site operation. Alps aims to become a key player in the evolving intersection of energy and digital infrastructure.

Alps’ legal structure, shareholder composition, and ongoing projects remain unchanged.
