Moniepoint Reaches Unicorn Status After $90 Million Funding Round

African fintech platform Moniepoint has secured a significant funding round of $90 million, boosting its valuation beyond $1 billion and solidifying its position as a unicorn in the continent’s digital finance sector. This latest injection brings the total Series C funding to over $200 million, following an initial close announced in October 2024.
