Ethereum Prepares for Mainnet Launch with Fusaka Upgrade

Ethereum is entering its final test phase of the Fusaka upgrade, a crucial step before its planned mainnet rollout on December 3rd. The update introduces a per-transaction gas cap designed to boost network efficiency and prepare for parallel execution. This means that only a limited amount of processing power can be used by single transactions, preventing potential denial-of-service attacks. Previously, high transaction volumes could consume the entire block’s gas limit, which limited scalability. The changes, already tested on the Holesky and Sepolia testnets, will allow for more even distribution of network activity.
