Coinbase Global has acquired Echo, a leading blockchain investment platform, in a deal worth $375 million. This acquisition positions Coinbase to further strengthen its presence in the burgeoning crypto investment space. According to sources, the transaction will be settled entirely in cash and stocks. Cobie Fish, founder of Echo, confirmed this news via social media. Fish indicated that Echo would maintain its brand identity for a period but will integrate Sonar, a public token sales platform developed by Echo, into Coinbase’s ecosystem. This integration signifies an expansion of Coinbase’s ability to offer advanced investment tools for both private and institutional clients.
