Bitcoin Exhibits 4.49% Kimchi Premium in Korean Market

On October 22, Bitcoin saw a significant premium of 4.49% in the South Korean market as per data from Upbit exchange at 12:00 AM KST. The cryptocurrency traded at 167.86 million KRW, representing an increase of 1.17% compared to the previous day. On Binance, BTC was priced at 160.65 million KRW, resulting in a price gap of 7.21 million KRW and a Kimchi Premium of 4.49%. Ethereum (ETH) recorded a Kimchi Premium of 4.43%, while other major altcoins also showcased strong premiums: Solana (SOL) at 4.43%, XRP (XRP) at 4.56%, Dogecoin (DOGE) at 4.14%, and Shiba Inu (SHIB) at 4.12%. Most of the top-performing altcoins currently exhibit a premium between 4.1% and 4.5%.
