Jefferies: Bitcoin Mining Profitability Plummets Over 7% in September

Investment bank Jefferies warns of declining profitability for Bitcoin miners in September. The analysis shows a decline of over 7%, driven by a weakening Bitcoin price and a surge in network hash rate, which increased by approximately 9%. This puts further pressure on miner margins as we head into Q4 2025.
