Arthur Hayes’ Maelstrom Launches $250 Million Fund to Acquire Crypto Firms

Crypto industry veteran Arthur Hayes has launched Maelstrom, a new private equity firm aiming to acquire medium-sized crypto infrastructure and analytics companies. Maelstrom plans to raise $250 million for its first fund, targeting up to six acquisitions within the next few years. The fund will invest between $40 million and $75 million per company, focusing on profitable off-chain ventures.
