Ghana Aims for December Crypto Regulations, Following Kenya’s Lead

Ghana is targeting the end of the year to implement regulations for cryptocurrency, mirroring Kenya’s recent action. The Bank of Ghana (BoG) has been diligently working on a regulatory framework in recent months, aiming to introduce legislation by the end of December. Governor Johnson Asiama stated that the bill is currently being prepared and will likely go before parliament soon.
