INEC Deploys Over 7,000 BVAS Ahead of Anambra Gubernatorial Election

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is gearing up for the November 8th Anambra State governorship election by deploying over 7,000 Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS). This pre-election preparation involves distributing these machines across 5,729 polling units in the state. A mock accreditation and test run of both BVAS and real-time uploading of results to the INEC Result Viewing portal (IReV) is scheduled for October 25th. This trial will assess the functionality of the devices and optimize their deployment for the November election.
