Japan Set to Combat Crypto Insider Trading with New Regulations

A new law enforcement agency, the Securities and Exchange Surveillance Commission (SESC), will be granted expanded powers to investigate and sanction violations. The country aims to bring cryptocurrencies under the same rules as stocks and bonds, essentially treating them like traditional financial instruments.
