Bitcoin Premium Surges in South Korea, Reaching 5.74%

On October 14th, Bitcoin witnessed a significant price surge on South Korea’s Upbit exchange, reaching a trading price of 172.02 million KRW. This increase marked a 5.74% Kimchi Premium compared to the previous day, and a 9.34 million KRW price gap from Binance’s pricing at 162.68 million KRW. Meanwhile, Ethereum (ETH) exhibited a Kimchi premium of 5.64%. Other popular altcoins also experienced similar levels of premiums, showcasing a trend across the cryptocurrency market.
