Rep. Steil Defends CLARITY Act’s Timeline Despite Government Shutdown

Wisconsin Representative Bryan Steil, a co-sponsor of the House’s CLARITY Act on market structure for cryptocurrencies, maintains the bill’s passage before 2026 is still on track despite the ongoing government shutdown. Steil stated that Republicans’ plans to pass the legislation by year-end remain unchanged despite the delay caused by the shutdown.
