Is Now the Right Time to Invest in Crypto? A Look at Market Potential

While Bitcoin just hit a new all-time high of $126,000, many investors believe the market is already saturated. However, recent data paints a different picture: over 60% of investors still lack exposure to crypto assets, according to a Bank of America study. This suggests that the potential for broader adoption remains substantial. Cosmo Jiang, partner at Pantera Capital, emphasizes this point during his CNBC appearance, stating that the survey revealed more than 60% of investors have no digital asset exposure yet. This highlights the early stage of crypto adoption and its untapped market potential. Despite Bitcoin’s impressive milestone, adoption still remains low in many countries. A recent study by Bank of America shows only 21% of adults own crypto assets in the US, while globally the adoption rate is below 30%, with the UAE leading at 25.3%. These figures indicate that even with Bitcoin’s success, the majority of investors remain outside the cryptocurrency ecosystem. This early stage of adoption suggests significant growth potential for the market, and it might be too early to write off the potential for crypto investment.
