EU Aims for Centralized Crypto & Finance Regulation with ESMA Push

The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) is advocating for a significant shift in financial regulation, proposing to consolidate oversight of the EU’s crypto and financial markets under its control. This proposal, championed by ESMA Chair Verena Ross, could mark one of the most substantial regulatory changes in the EU’s history.
