Tether Co-Founder Predicts Stablecoins Will Rule Global Finance by 2030

Reeve Collins, co-founder of Tether, envisions a future where stablecoins will dominate global currency by 2030. This shift marks a major transition towards on-chain finance, according to Collins, who stated in an interview at Token2049 in Singapore. He believes that stablecoins will become synonymous with traditional currencies like the US dollar, euro, and yen, operating on blockchain technology. Collins predicts that within the next five years, stablecoins will likely become the primary mode of money transfer, as advantages associated with tokenized assets become increasingly evident to traditional financial institutions.
