According to Mosyle, a cybersecurity firm, this sophisticated malware can evade traditional antivirus software by concealing its true nature as an innocuous background assistant program. It primarily targets browser-based crypto wallets on Windows, Linux, and macOS systems. ModStealer spreads through fake job advertisements, with developers who utilize Node.js environments being prime targets for infection.
