South African FinTech Startup Float Secures $2.6 Million to Expand Card-Linked Instalment Service

Float, a South African fintech company, has secured $2.6 million (R46 million) in new funding from Invenfin and SAAD Investment Holdings to fuel its expansion across the country. Existing investors also participated in the round, with advisory support from Lighthouse Venture Partners. This investment comes as Float continues to redefine how South Africans use their credit cards.
