SEC Launches ‘Project Crypto’ to Modernize Digital Asset Regulations

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has announced a significant initiative, Project Crypto, aiming to revamp securities regulations for digital assets. Chair Paul S. Atkins unveiled this plan at the OECD Roundtable on Global Financial Markets in Paris, highlighting the need for clear rules and a move away from ad-hoc enforcement practices.
