SEC Delays Decisions on Crypto ETFs, Pushing Deadline to November 12th

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has rescheduled its decisions on two cryptocurrency ETF proposals – the Bitwise Dogecoin ETF and Grayscale Hedera ETF – to November 12, 2025. This delay comes as the SEC is navigating a backlog of over 90 crypto ETF applications, including those for Solana and XRP. Grayscale also filed to convert its Bitcoin Cash and Litecoin trusts into ETFs, seeking to leverage the benefits of regulated exchange listings for increased efficiency. These recent decisions add to the mounting pileup of pending SEC reviews for altcoin ETFs.
