Blockchain-powered lending firm Figure Technology Solutions has increased the size of its initial public offering (IPO), aiming for a total deal exceeding $800 million. The company is now offering 31.5 million shares at a price range between $20 and $22, up from an earlier range of $18 to $20. Selling stockholders will contribute another 4.85 million shares, pushing the total offering to nearly $800 million. This increase could bring in a hefty $796 million if underwriters exercise their full overallotment option, adding to Figure’s already impressive financial standing. The company intends to use these proceeds to bolster its blockchain ecosystem by investing in platform development and expanding its digital asset marketplaces. Figure also aims to repay outstanding debt while strengthening infrastructure for its US Securities and Exchange Commission-registered interest-bearing stablecoin, YLDS.
