Sui-Based DeFi Platform Targeted in $2.4 Million Hack

A decentralized finance (DeFi) platform named Nemo Protocol, built on the Sui blockchain, suffered a cyberattack resulting in a loss of $2.4 million in stablecoins. Blockchain security firm PeckShield was the first to identify the incident, reporting that the attacker transferred the stolen USDC from Arbitrum to the Ethereum network. Following the attack, the Nemo team confirmed the incident and issued a statement on Telegram today.
