Bitcoin Surpasses $155,000 on Upbit, Registers 0.61% Kimchi Premium in Korean Market

On September 8th, Bitcoin’s price reached a new milestone in South Korea, exceeding the $155,000 mark on Upbit exchange at 12:00 AM KST. The cryptocurrency saw a 0.45% increase from the previous day, further illustrating a bullish trend. However, Binance reveals an adjusted price of $154,09 million KRW resulting in a premium gap of 920,000 KRW and a Kimchi Premium of 0.61%. Ethereum (ETH) was not far behind, exhibiting a Kimchi Premium of 0.67%, while other popular altcoins like Solana (SOL), XRP (XRP), Dogecoin (DOGE), and Shiba Inu (SHIB) also saw significant premiums ranging from 0.38% to 0.63%.
