Bitcoin’s Kimchi Premium Reaches 1.04% on September 6

On September 6th, Bitcoin’s price in South Korea, as measured on the Upbit exchange, saw a slight dip of 0.26%, settling at 155.01 million KRW. This corresponded to a Kimchi Premium of 1.04%. Further analysis reveals that while BTC dipped globally on Binance to 153.41 million KRW, resulting in a price gap of 1.60 million KRW. The remaining major altcoins, particularly Ethereum (ETH), were also experiencing premium levels. Ethereum’s Kimchi Premium stood at 1.05%, and other prominent cryptocurrencies like Solana (SOL) enjoyed a 0.95% premium; XRP (XRP) displayed a 1.00%; Dogecoin (DOGE) reached 1.10%; while Shiba Inu (SHIB) was observed with a 0.99% premium. Notably, most top altcoins have been trading with premiums in the 0.9% to 1.1% range.
