US Bancorp Re-Enters Crypto Custody Market After Rule Change

US Bancorp has resumed its operations in the cryptocurrency industry, relaunching its digital asset custody services aimed at institutional investors. The bank’s reentry follows regulatory changes enacted under President Donald Trump’s administration, which eased a previous SEC rule that required banks to hold capital for crypto-related activities on their balance sheets.
