Kite Raises $18M from PayPal, General Catalyst to Build Blockchain for AI Agents

AI blockchain startup Kite has secured a Series A funding round of $18 million co-led by PayPal Ventures and General Catalyst. This brings the company’s total funding to $33 million. The investment will fuel the development of infrastructure for an “agentic internet,” allowing artificial intelligence applications to securely communicate, transact, and coordinate without intermediaries.
