Ethereum Breaks 19 Million Active Addresses: A Sign of Growing Ecosystem Activity

Ethereum’s user activity surged in August 2025, reaching a level not seen since 2021. This surge coincided with a resurgence in non-fungible token (NFT) market engagement, marking the highest point since 2023. Notably, Ethereum recorded its highest monthly active address count in years – a staggering 19.45 million unique addresses in August. 2025.
