Digital Asset Funds Witness Major Inflows in August

August saw a surge in investments within digital asset funds, as data from CoinShares reveals a net inflow of $4.37 billion. This brings the year-to-date total to $3.55 billion, marking a significant increase. However, the overall assets under management (AUM) fell by 10% to reach $219 billion. Last week alone, $2.48 billion flowed into these funds, with the United States contributing $2.29 billion. Switzerland, Germany, and Canada followed with inflows of $109 million, $69.9 million, and $41.1 million, respectively. Notably, Ethereum saw a substantial inflow of $3.95 billion last month, significantly exceeding Bitcoin’s net outflow of -$301 million. Solana and XRP also experienced positive inflows driven by the anticipation surrounding U.S. exchange-traded fund (ETF) launches. $177 million poured into Solana and $134 million into XRP.
