Bitcoin Whale Shifts Billions to Ethereum: Exceeding SharpLink Holdings

A colossal Bitcoin whale has dramatically increased its investment in Ethereum, surpassing even large corporate holdings. The whale recently sold $2.59 billion worth of Bitcoin and used the funds to acquire an equivalent amount of Ether on decentralized exchange Hyperliquid, accumulating a total of 886,371 ETH ($4 billion). This action marks one of the largest single-asset trades towards Ethereum, making it the world’s second-largest private ETH holder after Bitmine Immersion. The move is being attributed to a wider institutional shift into Ethereum, driven by factors such as the influx of spot ETH ETFs and growing corporate treasury allocations.
