Binance Launches Mexico Entity, Plans $53 Million Investment

Binance, the world’s leading cryptocurrency exchange, is expanding its operations in Mexico by establishing a new local entity and committing to significant investment. Binance announced the launch of Medá, its newly registered Mexican branch, on Monday. 🇲🇽 This new entity will operate as an independent division dedicated to providing fintech services across Latin America. Medá will receive over $53 million in investment, exceeding one billion Mexican pesos, with plans for expansion over the next four years. The entity is specifically registered as an Electronic Payment Funds Institution (IFPE) under local regulations, facilitating deposits and withdrawals in Mexican pesos while ensuring operational independence.
