Tether’s Market Share Falls Below 60% in August 2025

A new report highlights a significant decline in Tether’s market share for stablecoins. According to DeFiLlama, USDT’s dominance has dipped below 60% for the first time since March 2023. This shift is attributed to increased competition from USDC and RLUSD by institutions like Circle and Ripple respectively.
