Tether Adjusts Plans, Users Face New Choices as Stability Coin Shifts

Tether is making adjustments to its plans for five legacy networks, impacting how users interact with USDT tokens. The company has stopped minting and direct redemptions of the stablecoin on Omni, Bitcoin Cash SLP, Kusama, EOS, and Algorand, but not freezing existing balances. However, liquidity on these chains may decline as service providers shift to busier networks.
