Recent data shows a shift in focus among South Korean investors, moving away from Bitcoin and altcoins towards stocks of cryptocurrency companies. Investments in these companies have soared since the beginning of the year, exceeding $12 billion according to a report by 10x Research. This interest is particularly high for shares of companies like Bitmine, Circle, and Coinbase, which trade on U.S. exchanges. South Korean investors heavily invested in these stocks last August, pouring significant sums into Bitmine ($426 million), Circle ($226 million), and Coinbase ($183 million). A notable $282 million was also invested in the 2x Ethereum ETF within the same month.
