Stablecoin Liquidity Hits New Milestone: Reserves Surge to $68 Billion

Centralized exchanges are seeing record-breaking levels of stablecoin reserves, reaching a new high of $68 billion. This surge, driven primarily by USDT and USDC balances, marks a clear departure from previous peaks. The latest milestone surpasses the February 2022 record of $59 billion, which was boosted by BUSD’s influence. Reserves have since doubled from their October 2023 lows, largely thanks to a significant boost after Donald Trump’s election victory in November.
