Grayscale Seeks SEC Approval for Polkadot and Cardano ETFs

Cryptocurrency firm Grayscale has submitted applications to launch Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) for Polkadot (DOT) and Cardano (ADA), building on earlier proposals. These filings are with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The proposed ETFs will list on NYSE Arca, using Coinbase Custody to hold assets without leverage or derivatives. While approval is expected late in Q4 2025, market response has been mixed. 8/30/2025 – Grayscale has filed for Polkadot and Cardano ETFs following up on February 2025 submissions.
