Ethereum’s core developers met for the 219th meeting of the Execution Layer Core Developers (ACDE) to discuss several crucial topics. Tim Beiko summarized the discussion, noting that the Fusaka development network (Devnet-3) is nearing completion and expected to be activated today. Developers are working on resolving synchronization issues with the consensus layer, and a further non-finality test will be conducted next week if successful. The launch of Devnet-5 is then in store. Meanwhile, developers acknowledged the retirement of Holesky and planned its decommissioning a few weeks after Fusaka’s activation. A public announcement outlining the timing and migration guidance will be released. The meeting also addressed the gas limit strategy, with a target of reaching 60 million before the Fusaka upgrade is implemented. Lastly, the discussion focused on the Glamsterdam update, where client-requested PFI matters are prioritized for future meetings.
