Blockchain Powers Green Revolution: Prevents 400 Million Tons of CO₂ Emissions

Two companies, Blubird and Arx Veritas, have taken a major step in tackling climate change using blockchain technology. They’ve tokenized over $32 billion worth of Emission Reduction Assets (ERAs), projects that directly combat greenhouse gas emissions. This initiative represents nearly 400 million tons of avoided CO₂ — the largest effort of its kind in the blockchain sector.
