CFTC Reverses Offshore Crypto Trading Restrictions

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) has reversed regulations that pushed crypto trading offshore during the Biden administration. The CFTC’s Foreign Board of Trade (FBOT) issued a new advisory allowing US investors to trade with unregulated crypto exchanges outside the U.S., but which are legally authorized in other jurisdictions.
